CRIMES ACT 1900 - SECT 284
Practice as to entering the dock
In every case the presiding judge shall have power to order the accused to
enter the dock, or usual place of arraignment, or to allow him or her to
remain on the floor of the court, and in either case to sit down, as the judge
shall see fit.
