Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) For this chapter, the director-general may give directions to an escort officer in relation to an offender or remandee, including directions to take the offender or remandee into custody or to a place stated in the direction.
(2) Without limiting the authority that may be given by a direction under subsection (1), the direction authorises the escort officer to have custody of, and deal with, the offender or remandee in accordance with the direction.
