Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) The provisions of another Act imposing restrictions or obligations of secrecy or nondisclosure of information acquired in the administration of that Act apply to a person who, in the exercise of functions under this Act, has access to the information because of the information having been acquired in the administration of the other Act.
(2) For subsection (1), the person who has access to the information in the exercise of functions under this Act is taken to be a person engaged in the administration of the other Act.
(3) Subsection (1) does not prevent—
(a) the giving of access to records under this Act; or
(b) the preparation and dissemination of guides and aids to finding information contained in the records.
