(1) This section applies if—
(a) an interstate restraining order is registered under this Act; and
(b) an interstate penalty order is registered in the ACT under the Service and Execution of Process Act 1992
(Cwlth).
(2) On the registration of both of the orders mentioned in subsection (1), a charge (an interstate penalty charge ) to secure the amount payable under the interstate penalty order is created over the property in the ACT restrained under the interstate restraining order.
(3) If the interstate restraining order is amended, after the interstate penalty order is made, to add more property, and the interstate restraining order is registered under this part, the additional property is also subject to the penalty charge on registration of the amendment.
