Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) The court must ensure that a written record of the explanation under section 82 is given to the offender or the offender's lawyer as soon as practicable after (but no later than 10 working days after the day) the explanation is given under that section.

(2) Failure to comply with this section does not invalidate the sentence of imprisonment.
