CRIMES (AMENDMENT) ACT (NO. 5) 1998 (NO. 71 OF 1998) - SECT 2

    This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette .

3.     Principal Act

    In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Crimes Act 1900 . ¹

4.     Substitution

    Section 428A of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted:

“428A.     Application

    This Part ceases to have effect on 30 June 1999.”.
