Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) For this chapter, the chief executive may give directions to an escort officer in relation to an offender or remandee, including directions to take the offender or remandee into custody or to a place stated in the direction.
(2) Without limiting the authority that may be given by a direction under subsection (1), the direction authorises the escort officer to have custody of, and deal with, the offender or remandee in accordance with the direction.
