CONFISCATION OF CRIMINAL ASSETS ACT 2003 (NO. 8 OF 2003) - SECT 22

Restraining orders—purposes

A restraining order may be made to preserve property so that the property will be available for 1 or more of the following purposes:

        (a)     for forfeiture under a conviction forfeiture order;

        (b)     for automatic forfeiture;

        (c)     for forfeiture under a civil forfeiture order;

        (d)     to satisfy a penalty order.

Note     Pt 5 deals with forfeiture and pt 7 deals with penalty orders.
