A penalty order ends if—
(a) for a penalty order made under section 84 (Penalty orders—offenders convicted of ordinary indictable offences)—the offender is cleared of the offence (or offences) to which the penalty order relates, and all related offences (if any); or
(b) the order is reversed or set aside on appeal; or
(c) the order is fully satisfied.
Note 1 For the meaning of fully satisfied , see dict.
Note 2 If the order ends because it
was made because of the conviction of the offender for a serious offence, and
the offender is cleared, a further penalty order may be made against the
offender (see s 85 (4)).
