CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (MODIFICATION) REGULATIONS 2000 (2000 NO 37) - REG 3

    Chapter 17 of the Children and Young People Act 1999 is modified by inserting the following section after section 439:

“ 439A Notifications

“ (1)       If, before the commencement day, a person had notified the director under subsection 103 (1) of the repealed Act, the notification is taken to be a report made to the chief executive under section 158 (Voluntary reporting) of this Act.

“ (2)       If, before the commencement day, a person had notified the director under subsection 103 (2) of the repealed Act, the notification is taken to be a report made to the chief executive under section 159 (Mandatory reporting) of this Act.”.
