This division applies to a forensic proceeding under—

        (a)     the Act

, part 2.7 (Carrying out of certain forensic procedures after conviction of serious offenders); or

        (b)     the Crimes Act

, part 1D, division 6A (Carrying out of certain forensic procedures after conviction of serious and prescribed offenders).
