DISCRIMINATION (REMUNERATION AND ALLOWANCES) REGULATIONS (NO. 3 OF 1992) - REG 5

5. (1) Subject to subregulation (2), where the Commissioner is, in the performance of his or her functions under the Act, necessarily absent from the Territory, he or she shall be paid travelling allowance in respect of that absence—

(a) where the Commissioner performs his or her functions in the capital city of a State or the Northern Territory—at the rate of $300.00 per day; or

(b) in any other case—at the rate of $155.00 per day.

(2) Travelling allowance payable under this regulation is in addition to, and does not include, the cost of conveyance.
