DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES (EXPLOSIVES) AMENDMENT REGULATION 2008 (NO 1) (NO 21 OF 2008) - REG 11

substitute

    (1)     A person must not use consumer fireworks except between 5 pm and 9 pm on the Saturday and Sunday (the Queen's birthday weekend use period ) immediately before the second Monday in June.

Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.

Note     The 2nd Monday in June is an annual public holiday to celebrate the Queen's birthday (see Holidays Act 1958, s 3 (1) (a) (viii)).
