DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES (EXPLOSIVES) REGULATIONS 2004 (NO 10 OF 2004) - REG 20

If a provision of these regulations requires a person to ensure that something is or is not done in relation to an explosive, the provision is taken to require the person to ensure that reasonable steps are taken to minimise any risk, and eliminate any hazard, that might result if the requirement were not met.

Note     The following terms are defined in the Act:

              •     hazard (s 15 (1))

              •     risk (s 15 (2))

              •     reasonable steps (s 16).
