Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) A shotfirer must take all precautions that are necessary and reasonable to prevent any danger to people or damage to property from the use of explosives by the shotfirer in the course of a blasting operation.
(2) If a person other than the shotfirer is in charge of a blasting operation, the person must take all precautions that are necessary and reasonable to prevent any danger to people or damage to property from the use of explosives in the course of the operation.
Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.
(3) An offence against this regulation is a strict liability offence.
