DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES (EXPLOSIVES) REGULATIONS 2004 (NO 10 OF 2004) - REG 297

A primary authorised user of consumer fireworks must ensure that they are used—

        (a)     so as not to endanger any person or damage any property; and

        (b)     in accordance with the information given by the supplier under division 3.3.6 (Packaging and safety instructions—consumer fireworks).

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this regulation is a strict liability offence.
