Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) For the Act, the matters the chief executive must have regard to in deciding whether a person is a suitable person to be issued with, or to continue to hold, a fireworks display permit include the following:
(a) whether the person holds a display operator licence;
(b) if the person does not hold a display operator licence—if the person has demonstrated adequate knowledge and experience of—
(i) safety in the use of fireworks of the kind and size to be used in the display or displays for which the permit is sought; and
(ii) the requirements of these regulations that relate to fireworks displays.
(2) For subregulation (1), the chief executive must have regard to any relevant qualifications held by the applicant.
