DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES (EXPLOSIVES) REGULATIONS 2004 (NO 10 OF 2004) - REG 33

AAT review of decision to refuse authorisation

    (1)     A decision of the chief executive to refuse a request for authorisation is a reviewable decision for the Act, section 186.

    (2)     The person requesting authorisation is prescribed for the Act, section 187 (Notice of reviewable decisions).

Note     The effect of this regulation is to make the decision reviewable by the AAT. See the Act, ch 9 for the relevant procedures.
