FIREARMS AMENDMENT REGULATION 2009 (NO 1) (NO 13 OF 2009) - REG 4

in part 15, insert

73A     People exempt from Act—Act, s 272 (2) (r)

A member of a police service or force of a foreign country is exempt from the Act in relation to a firearm the member possesses or uses if the possession or use is for taking part in a training activity—

        (a)     conducted by the Australian Federal Police; and

        (b)     carried out in the ACT.
