GAMING MACHINE REGULATIONS 2004 (NO 30 OF 2004) - REG 25

Gaming machines to be on CMS

    (1)     A licensee commits an offence if—

        (a)     the licensee operates a gaming machine; and

        (b)     the machine is required to be connected to the CMS; and

        (c)     the machine is not connected to the CMS.

Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.

    (2)     For subregulation (1) (b), a gaming machine is required to be connected to the CMS if connection is required—

        (a)     under these regulations; or

        (b)     under the licence for the machine.

    (3)     An offence against this regulation is a strict liability offence.
