Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) An individual may have an account (a player account ) with a licensee that allows the individual to hold an amount of up to $500 with the licensee for use in gaming machines on the licensee's licensed premises.
(2) A licensee commits an offence if—
(a) the licensee opens a player account for an individual; and
(b) either—
(i) the individual is a child; or
(ii) the individual already has a player account with the licensee.
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
(3) A licensee commits an offence if amounts in player accounts held by the licensee are not kept separate from other amounts held by the licensee.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(4) An offence against this regulation is a strict liability offence.
