Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) A record kept under section 34 (Chronological record of information to be made) is, so far as it relates to particular information, to be kept by the law practice for a period of 7 years after finalisation of the matter to which the record relates.
(2) Any other record or information required by this part to be kept by a law practice is to be kept for a period of 7 years after finalisation of the matter to which the record or information relates.
(3) This section does not apply to records to which section 39 (Deposit records for trust money), section 53 (Deposit of controlled money—Act, s 224 (5)) or section 63 (Keeping of trust records—Act, s 232 (2) (a)) applies.
