LIQUOR REGULATIONS(AMENDMENT) (NO. 1 OF 1996) - REG 2

    (a)     by omitting from paragraph (4) (c) “Food, Wine and All That Jazz event conducted by Canberra Festival” and substituting “Autumn Feast event conducted by ACT Festivals”;

    (b)     by omitting from subregulation (5) “19 March 1995” and substituting “17 March 1996”; and

    (c)     by adding at the end the following subregulation:

“(8) For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of ‘prescribed public place' in subsection 84 (3) of the Act, the following parcels of land in the Division of City, Canberra Central District, and the buildings and other structures and improvements on that land, are declared to be public places to which section 84 of the Act applies:

        (a)     Block 7 of Section 18;

        (b)     Block 23 of Section 19, other than so much of the Block as is part of the Canberra Theatre Centre within the meaning of the Canberra Theatre Trust Act 1965 ;

        (c)     Blocks 10 and 11 of Section 56.”.
