LITTER REGULATIONS (NO. 42 OF 1993)

TABLE OF PROVISIONS

   1.      These Regulations may be cited as the Litter Regulations.  
   2.      These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.  
   3.      In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—“Act” means the Litter Act 1977.  
   4.      For the purposes of sections 10, 10A, 10D and 11A of the Act the prescribed penalty for an alleged littering offence is the penalty specified in the Schedule opposite the reference to the provision of the Act creating that littering offence.
