Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) A person in charge of a school must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with a school health direction, or a direction of the chief health officer to give a return to school notice.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(2) If a child is excluded from school under a school health direction, and a parent or guardian of the child has been given notice of the direction under subregulation 13 (4), the parent or guardian of the child must not allow the child to attend school until the direction ceases to have effect.
