Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) A private hospital is a building to which this regulation applies.
(2) The business carried on at a private hospital must consist of the provision of facilities for accommodating patients, and offering them medical or surgical treatment, or childbirth facilities (including antenatal and postnatal care).
(3) The business of a private hospital must not be financially supported (in whole or in part) by the Territory.
