ROAD TRANSPORT (SAFETY AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) REGULATION 2017 (NO 45 OF 2017) - REG 13

    (1)     For the Act

, dictionary, definition of "approved camera detection device", each digital camera detection device and fixed camera detection device is approved.

    (2)     For the Act

, dictionary, definition of "approved speed measuring device", each of the following is approved:

        (a)     approved police speedometers;

        (b)     laser speed measuring devices;

        (c)     loop detector speed measuring devices;

        (d)     piezo strip speed measuring devices;

        (e)     radar speed measuring devices.

    (3)     For the Act

, dictionary, definition of approved average speed detection system , the P482 dual-camera automatic number plate recognition system manufactured by PIPS Technology Ltd, that is used with SpeedPoints matching software, is approved.
