        (a)     see the Road Transport (Public Passenger Services) Act 2001 , section 45 (Meaning of taxi ); and

        (b)     except in the Australian Road Rules, rule 182 (which is about stopping in taxi zones), includes a private hire car and a restricted hire vehicle.
