ROAD TRANSPORT (PUBLIC PASSENGER SERVICES) REGULATIONS 2002 (2002 NO 3) - REG 48

(ACT Bus reg 19, NSW Bus cl 24)

    (1)     A person who is issued with a bus ticket must not transfer (or offer to transfer) the ticket, or a part of the ticket, to someone else.

Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.

    (2)     This regulation does not apply if—

        (a)     the ticket was bought for the other person; or

        (b)     the transfer is authorised by the accredited operator of the bus service.
