ROAD TRANSPORT (OFFENCES) REGULATIONS 2001 (2001 NO 20) - REG 8

    (1)     The road transport authority is the administering authority for the infringement notice offences mentioned in the following provisions of schedule 1:

        (a)     part 1.2 (Australian Road Rules), items 201 to 254;

        (b)     part 1.4 (Road Transport (Dimensions and Mass) Act 1990);

        (c)     part 1.7 (Road Transport (General) Act 1999), items 16 to 45 and 47 to 65;

        (d)     part 1.8 (Road Transport (Bus Services) Regulations 2000);

        (e)     part 1.9 (Road Transport (Hire Vehicle Services) Regulations 2000);

        (f)     part 1.10 (Road Transport (Taxi Services) Regulations 2000);

        (g)     part 1.11 (Road Transport (Third-Party Insurance) Regulations 2000);

        (h)     part 1.13 (Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulations 2000), items 16 to 22, 27 to 35, 41, 43 and 53 to 57.

    (2)     The chief police officer is the administering authority for any other infringement notice offence.
