ROAD TRANSPORT (OFFENCES) REGULATION 2005 (NO 11 OF 2005) - REG 8

    (1)     The road transport authority is the administering authority for the infringement notice offences mentioned in the following provisions of schedule 1:

        (a)     part 1.2 (Australian Road Rules), items 207 to 261;

        (b)     part 1.4 (Road Transport (Dimensions and Mass) Act 1990);

        (c)     part 1.9 (Road Transport (Third-Party Insurance) Regulation 2000);

        (d)     part 1.10 (Road Transport (Public Passenger Services) Act 2001);

        (e)     part 1.11 (Road Transport (Public Passenger Services) Regulation 2002);

        (f)     part 1.13 (Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulation 2000), items 17 to 23, 28 to 36, 44 and 56 to 58.

    (2)     The chief police officer is the administering authority for any other infringement notice offence.
