Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) This section applies to a driver who parks a vehicle on a length of road, or in an area, to which a permissive parking sign applies if information on or with the sign indicates that a fee is payable for parking by buying a ticket or putting money into a parking meter.
(2) The driver must—
(a) pay the relevant parking fee (if any) for parking the vehicle on the road or in the area; and
(b) obey any instructions on or with the sign, meter, ticket or ticket-vending machine.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
