ROAD TRANSPORT (ROAD RULES) REGULATION 2017 (NO 43 OF 2017) - REG 213U

Interfering with parking permit and mobility parking scheme authority

A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person removes, changes, damages, defaces or otherwise interferes with a parking permit or mobility parking scheme authority that is in or on a vehicle; and

        (b)     the person is not—

              (i)     the driver of the vehicle; or

              (ii)     the responsible person for the vehicle; or

              (iii)     the person to whom the permit or authority was issued.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
