ROAD TRANSPORT (ROAD RULES) REGULATION 2017 (NO 43 OF 2017) - REG 9

Offences against regulation—defence

It is a defence to an offence against this regulation if the defendant proves that the offence—

        (a)     was the result of an accident; or

        (b)     could not have been avoided by any reasonable efforts by the defendant.
