UTILITIES (WATER CONSERVATION) REGULATION 2006 (NO 9 OF 2006) - REG 17

Contravening directions to comply with conservation measure or temporary restriction

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     an authorised person for a utility gives the person a direction under section 16; and

        (b)     the person contravenes the direction.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
