VETERINARY SURGEONS REGULATION 2015 (NO 39 OF 2015) - REG 41

    (1)     The Electoral Act 1992

, section 110 (Rejection of nominations), applies to an election under this part.

    (2)     In applying the Electoral Act 1992

, section 110 in relation to this part—

        (a)     a reference in the Electoral Act 1992

, section 110 (1) to section 105 is taken to be a reference to this regulation, section 38 (Nominations); and

        (b)     any other necessary changes are taken to have been made.

    (3)     The electoral commissioner may ask the executive officer for any information the commissioner needs to work out whether a nominee is eligible to be nominated as a member of the board.

    (4)     The executive officer must comply with a request made to the officer under subsection (3).
