Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) If no candidate is nominated for an election to the board, the election is taken to have failed and the electoral commissioner must, in writing, tell the board president and the Minister about the failure of the election.
(2) If the electoral commissioner tells the Minister about the failure of the election, the Minister must, under the Act
, section 107, appoint as members of the board the number of people who would otherwise be required to be elected.
