Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations Australian Capital Territory Numbered Regulations(1) If 1 or more people have applied to be a candidate under section 65, the electoral commissioner must declare the name and postal address of each candidate.
(2) If there are no candidates for a casual vacancy, the electoral commissioner must declare that there are no candidates and tell the board president, in writing, that there are no candidates.
(3) A declaration under subsection (1) is a notifiable instrument.
