BUILDING REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT)

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM

No. 11 of 1987

The Building Regulations (Amendment) amends regulation 12 of the Building Regulations (“the Regulations”) to:
• omit from subregulations (1) and (2) $20 and substitute $24. The effect of the amendment is to reduce the amount of the refund of fees payable under regulation 12 by $4;
• add an additional subregulation to enable a refund of those fees paid when lodging plans for approval, when the application is withdrawn before those plans are approved. $24 of that fee is retained to cover the administrative cost of considering the plans.
