Fisheries Amendment Regulations
2004 (No 1)
The Fisheries Amendment Regulations 2004 (No 1) amends the
Fisheries Regulations 2001 and repeal the sections of those regulations
that deal with infringement notice offences (sections 6,7,8 ) and schedule 1
which lists the infringement notice offences and relevant penalties. These
repealed provisions are now provided for in the Magistrates Court (Fisheries
Infringement Notices) Regulations 2004
Regulation 1 - Name of regulations - provides that
the regulations are the Fisheries Amendment Regulations 2004 (No 1)
Regulation 2 - Commencement - provides that the regulations
commence on the day after their notification day.
Regulation 3 -
Regulations amended – provides that these regulations amend the
Fisheries Regulations 2001.
Regulation 4 - Regulations 6, 7
and 8 and schedule 1 – provides that regulations 6, 7 and 8 and
schedule 1 are repealed.
