GAMING MACHINE REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) 1987

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM

Issued by Authority of the Minister of State for the Arts, Sport, the Environment, Tourism and Territories.

The Gaming Machine Regulations (Amendment) 1987 prescribe, for the purposes of sub-paragraph 18(2)(a)(i) of the Gaming Machine Ordinance 1987, draw poker machines as the only Class B gaming machines that may be installed on General Licence premises having at least 12 rooms of residential accommodation.
