AUSTRALIAN LAW REFORM COMMISSION ACT 1996 - SECT 14

Acting appointments: full - time members

    The Attorney - General may appoint a part - time member to act as a full - time member (other than the Presiden t ) during any period, or during all periods, when the full - time member is, for any reason, unable to perform the functions of the office.

Note:   For rules that apply to acting appointments, see section   33A of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 .
