Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A licence may be issued:
(a) for an indefinite period; or
(b) for a period specified in the licence.
(2) A licence continues in force until:
(a) it is cancelled or surrendered; or
(b) if the licence was issued for a specified period--the end of that period (or that period as extended under paragraph 36(2)(d)), unless earlier cancelled or surrendered.
