Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Before the Ombudsman begins to hold hearings, the Ombudsman must give reasonable notice in each State and Territory of the intention to hold the hearings, the subject of the hearings and the time and place at which the first of the hearings is to begin.
(2) The notice must be given by advertisement published in a newspaper circulating in each State and Territory.
