Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister may determine in writing that this Part does not apply to activities of a kind specified in the determination if the Minister is satisfied that, because of their nature, those activities are likely to have no more than a negligible impact on the Antarctic environment.
(2) This Part does not apply to:
(a) any mining activity; and
(b) any activity of a kind specified in a determination under subsection (1).
