Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The regulations may make provision in relation to enabling a person who is alleged to have committed an offence of a kind referred to in the table in subsection (2) to pay to the Commonwealth, as an alternative to prosecution, a penalty of an amount worked out in accordance with subsection (2).
(2) The amount of penalty payable to the Commonwealth under regulations made for the purposes of subsection (1) in respect of an offence is determined using the following table:
