Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor - General may make regulations prescribing matters:
(a) required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed; or
(b) necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.
(2) However, this section does not authorise the making of regulations for the purposes of the cooperative scheme.
Note: The Governor - General has power to make regulations for the purposes of the cooperative scheme under clause 12 of the scheme.
