Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsAny presiding officer may appoint a substitute to perform the duties of the presiding officer during his or her temporary absence, and such substitute may, while so acting, exercise all the powers of the presiding officer, and shall, in the exercise of those powers, be deemed to be the presiding officer.
