DISABILITYCARE AUSTRALIA FUND ACT 2013 - SECT 18

Reimbursing the States and Territories--channelling of State/Territory grants payments through the Federation Reform Fund

  (1)   The Finance Minister may, by writing, direct that a specified amount is to be:

  (a)   debited from the DisabilityCare Australia Fund Special Account; and

  (b)   credited to the Federation Reform Fund;

on a specified day.

  (2)   The direction must be expressed to be given in order to enable the amount to be debited from the Federation Reform Fund for the purpose of making a specified grant of financial assistance in relation to reimbursing the States and Territories for expenditure incurred in relation to the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 .

  (3)   Two or more directions under subsection   (1) may be set out in the same document.

  (4)   A direction under subsection   (1) is not a legislative instrument.

  (5)   The Finance Minister must give a copy of a direction under subsection   (1) to the Treasurer and the National Disability Insurance Minister.
