Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A person who is a defence member or a defence civilian commits an offence if:
(a) the person drives a service vehicle in any place, whether a public place or not; and
(b) the person does so at a speed, or in a manner, dangerous to another person in that place.
Maximum punishment: Imprisonment for 6 months.
(2) A person who is a defence member or a defence civilian commits an offence if:
(a) the person drives a vehicle on service land; and
(b) the person does so at a speed, or in a manner, dangerous to another person on that land.
Maximum punishment: Imprisonment for 6 months.
(3) Absolute liability applies to paragraphs (1)(a) and (2)(a).
